Someone asked wiL to help them write lyrics this is what he wrote...
Well as much as I would love to help you write lyrics, I think that something like that has to come from somewhere inside your heart. Not to be a downer, but I think that the whole writing process has be be really personal to have any kind of depth and weight. Although I would certainly love to see what kind of stuff you are writing about.

I think that it's really special when you listen to a band and read their lyrics and they are writing and singing about stuff that they have experienced or gone through.

That's why I don't write alot of pop songs about girls who don't want to return my phone calls or about high school and how much of a bummer it is to go to class and "think about her"

I can't relate with that stuff. I got kicked out of school in the 8th grade and was to pre-occupied with getting high to think about girls. Maybe I'm just weird but I don't think I'm alone on this one when I say that stuff like that doesn't interest me.

I have been in love but don't think that every song I write should be how I fucked it up.

So my advice to you is draw on your own experience, write about what you find interesting or love. Write from the bottom of your heart and I promise you it will come out good, no matter what anybody thinks or says.

It's not just about the words on paper, it's also about the feeling you put into the pen right before you put the pen to the paper.

I hope this helps.
