(I am trying to forget about the last three)
My Aiden Experience: Ok it’s the 20th of January the day Kerrang XXV is playing Norwich UEA. Aiden, Bullet for my Valentine, Hawthorn Heights and Still Remains are all playing. The final lesson at school finishes and I run to meet my friends Flo and Lauren we get changed in the toilets run past our head of year (thank the lord he didn’t see what we were wearing) and jumped in to flo’s mums car. We arrive at the UEA at around 3:30 and are second in the queue. About a minuet after we arrive Nick walks past us unfortunately he got inside before we could catch him. After around half an hour wiL walks past he tries to sneak past us but I manage to grab him and got his autograph and a pic he didn’t seem very happy and I am so sorry wiL if you didn’t want to do autographs (sorry sorry SORRY). Once the doors finally opened I ran in and bagged my place at the front. Aidens set is beyond amazing. wiL kept stage diving and it was fucking awesome but he kept kicking me in the head the Nick bends down and tells me and the guy next to me that he is going to jump!!! again cool but painful. I stay in the pit until the end of Hawthorn Heights set then decide to get out because I was in pain after being crushed against a barrier. So I just start wondering around and then to my shock (and delight) I discover wiL I get some more pics then wonder off again I discover my friends (Flo and Lauren) have also got out and we start wondering around again by the end of the gig we had found all the members of Aiden and got pics and autographs and talked to them!!! it was the most amazing night of my life and they were so nice I just want to thank them for being such an inspiration.
My Aiden Experience2: I went to see Aiden play London underworld and it was fucking awesome after around 2 hours of waiting outside in the freezing cold wiL appeared at the window me and Flo were standing at and started pointing at our banner and he said (well mimed) that he loved it!!! After the long 8 hour wait they finally opened the doors and ran in. the 2 support bands were ok I got the guitarists from Dirtbox plectrum!!! Then finally Aiden took to the stage and it was amazing but so fucking painful we managed to get our banner to wiL and he hung it over the drum kit!!! When their set was almost done I blacked out and wiL had to drag me out of the pit (there is no barrier at the underworld so not much in the way of security) I was still backstage when it finished so I got to meet Nick, Angel and Jake W (I don’t know where wiL and Jake D fucked off to) and nick gave me a really big hug asked if I was ok and gave me loads of water and Angel introduced himself to me by shaking my hand and telling me his name was Angel (like he needed to be introduced!!!) then he gave me a hug and gave me his necklace!!! Jake W just came and said hi and he had his shirt off!!! Later on the underground home we met some of they guys that we were talking to in the queue and they said that they got security to put our banner into wiLs dressing room and that wiL really liked it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Aiden Experience3:Victory Records UK Invasion Tour 200666
Norwich UEA 10th September.
OK well Flo and I arrive at the UEA at 3:45 In the morning and set up our camp (well we got out the sleeping bags and the pop up tent (now known as the Cupcake tent to Death/DOOOOOOOM) and had a nice little chat with the night security. At around 9:30ish Pru arrives and then an hour after her some more people turn up. At around 11 The Audition and The Sleepings bus rolls up, but they are all still asleep (lazy buggers) so we just have a nice chat with their driver, who was very nice but he kept telling us we were insane. Another hour later Aiden arrive…..I really cant be arsed to explain much more of what happened so il try and just summarise the rest.
We met all the bands around 50 times seeing as they were all just hanging around. wiL had flu and was in a bit of a bad mood but I still managed to make him laugh when I gave him the banner. Jake W told me to go put the massive box of cupcakes on the tour bus but I was in too much shock to move so he did it. *cries*. And I later read in Rock Sound that they chewed to flavoured condoms we gave them and angel told me he really liked the Dinosaur toothbrushes. (we also gave them make up remover, candy, toothpaste, make up, air freshener, fags, lighters and a load of other shiz) The gig itself was fucking amazing and it was a day I will never forget.
London Astoria 23rd September
OK I have no idea what time Ben and I got to the Astoria but when we did there were a few familiar faces so we had good company. Once again I met all the bands and Jake W parents. I also asked Danny (the Audition) and Doug (the sleeping) if Aiden gave them any of the cupcakes we had made Aiden (I did tell Jake W to share them) and the both said no, but Danny also said he snuck onto their bus and stole some. Ya I really cant be bothered to write anymore if you want to know more then just ask.
I also saw Aiden play at Give It a Name.
